Phil Hart received a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah and a master's degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He makes his living as a licensed structural engineer. As an athlete, Phil qualified for the U.S. Cycling Nationals the first time he rode a 25 mile time trial, and came within 6 seconds of the American record for the 10 mile time trial. He was also the winner of two World Cup races on the masters FIS alpine ski racing series.
